Simple Framed Decor

Here is a simple way to add a little something to a blank space: just take scrapbook paper, cut it up in to whatever shape/pattern you like and stick it in a frame.

What you need:
  • Scrapbook paper (what ever color/s you want!)
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Frame (paint and paint brush if you plan on giving an old frame a new look)

What you need

I had an old frame, which I didn't like the color of anymore. So I repainted it a dark, charcoal gray.

I then took some scrapbook paper that matched the bathroom that I was putting this fame in and cut it up. I cut the various colors into strips and glued them on another piece of paper. But you can do any shape/pattern you can think of, I just wanted something fast and simple.

Then I stuck the finished pattern in my newly paint frame and I was done... simple!

Here it is in the bathroom (you may also notice the Origami Flowers that I have previously talked about!).

The greatest thing is that I can change this really quickly if I don't like it anymore. Also, you could put a piece of fabric with a pattern or just one piece of scrapbook paper with a pattern in the frame. Basically, you could put whatever you'd like in the frame. I thought this was just a nice, quick way to add some simple decor in an empty space.
