Taco Bowls

The other night we had soft tacos but had a lot of the mixings left over. Instead of making more tacos the next night I thought I'd change things up a bit with taco bowls!!

Here, let me show you what I did...

We took the meat, beans, and rice leftover from the night before and mixed it all together {reheated them, of course}.

It looked gross, but I assure you it was pretty tasty. : )

Then we made the taco bowls:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Take a cookie sheet. Place bowls on cookie sheet. Lay tortillas on top of bowls. Bake.

I'm not sure how long we baked the tortillas for. Maybe 10 minutes? Long enough for them to be crispy.

After the bowls were baked, we added the taco mixture along with lettuce and cheese into the bowls. And presto! Done!

Very simply and very yummy! I found the idea from Heather's French Press, who used glasses instead of bowls. Kimberly at 733 also made some using a cupcake pan. Genius!

I'm sure there are a million ways to make these. If you have a nifty way of making taco bowls, I'd love to see it {leave a link in the comments}!

  1. Oh- Now I am hungry for those! They look wonderful and they are one of our favorites! xo Diana
