Linen-Backed Picture Frames

Happy Saturday everyone! Lately I've been sharing with you all additions to my gallery wall. So far I have shown Yarn-Wraped InitialsPolka Dot Ombre Painting, and Painted Poem Wall Decor. Today I have one more piece to show:

What you need:

  • Picture Frames {I used square ones}
  • Linen {or any fabric}
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Photo Corners

Up till this project non of my pieces for the gallery wall actually had pictures. So I knew I wanted this project to showcase photos. I also knew that I wanted to incorporate linen, because I love the look and texture of it! Here is what I did:

First I wrapped the matte that came with the frame in the linen.

Then, to attach the photos, I used the photo corners {you can find these in the scrap-booking area of craft stores}.

I liked the idea of the photo corners because it allows me to change out the photo whenever I want.

That finished the project!

Simple, fast, and they turned out just as I had envisioned!

I was going to take photos of the whole gallery wall, but it has been a constant rainy mess here. Which means there has been no good, natural light to take the photos. : ( But hopefully the weather will get better this week. So check back soon for the gallery wall reveal!

  1. The photo corners are a great idea! I love how they give the linen backdrop a finished look. Thanks for linking up to Give Me the Goods!
