Simple Beauty

Every day, when I come home from work, I like to check on my garden. You may remember I wrote about My First Attempt at Gardening this spring. I was really excited to try my hand at gardening. I had visions of my flowers growing to large sizes and I'd clip flowers to put in vases in our home. Well you know what? My visions were true!

First let me remind you of what I used to come home too:

So awful.

At the end of May, after some work, my garden looked like this:

Looks so much cleaner. But wait....

2 and half months later my garden looks like this:

I can't believe how large all my flowers are! They are so beautiful. : ) I love the white in the front but I think next year I'll plant more color.

My favorite are my knock-out roses.

Their simple beauty just makes me smile, especially after a long day at work.

I clipped some of the roses the other day, put them in mason jars, and placed them on our dinner table.

{I stained the mason jars blue myself, like I did for my Blue Tinted & Netted Vase.}

Now I see the beauty of my flowers inside my house as well. Every time I walk by them I smile.

    1. Thank you Theresa. : ) This little garden was my practice for when we get a house. Now that I'm confident I can keep a garden I can't wait to get a house with more gardening space! Though, it will be awhile.

    1. Thanks Diana! I've definitely discovered how rewarding gardening is.

      I am aware that I have the word verification on. I had a big problem awhile back with spam comments. But I'll try taking it off again. Hopefully the spamers will stay away!
