Confetti iPhone Covers

Happy Monday all! I have the day off today for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and I am using it to get caught up on this and that.

Lately I've been wanting a new cover for my iPhone. You may {or may not} remember that I made some covers myself a while back. So I thought I'd make some more, but this time I wanted confetti! Here is what I did:

What you need:

  • Paper {for confetti}
  • White card-stock paper
  • Way to cut paper into circles {I used a Cricut}
  • Glue stick
  • iPhone case {I have this one}
  • Scissors
  • X-acto knife

To make the confetti I used my Cricut. First I designed 1/4 of an inch circles in the Cricut Craft Room. Then I cut the circles out.

For the glitter circles I used glitter wrapping paper. For the other circles I used tissue paper. Tissue paper is a little tricky to cut on a Cricut, though {believe me I ruined a few circles}. So to cut the tissue paper I adhered freezer paper to the tissue paper. This worked really well!

Next I traced the outline of the iPhone case on the white card-stock. {Don't forget to trace the camera lens hole.} Then I cut out the outline with the X-acto knife.

Once the outline was cut, I glued on the circles randomly with the glue stick. {I made two covers, one with blue and green confetti, and one with yellow and peach confetti. Both also had the glitter confetti.}

That's all there was to them. So easy!

I love them! They are so pretty and fun. : )
