Paint Chip Chevron Art {Pinterest Challenge}

Hi all! It's finally Friday. : )

Today is Week 1 of the Pinterest Challenge! I meant to share this earlier in the week but this week has been a busy one. But better late then never right!

This week I decided to work on the Chevron Paint Chip Art from Designing by Numbers:

I pretty much followed what she did but made a few changes of my own. Here is what I did:

What you need:
First Designing by Numbers printed out a chevron pattern on to the paint chips. I instead printed out the chevron pattern and cut one of the pieces out to use as a template. I did this because I used a different sized paint chip and didn't want to resize the chevron pattern. But either way works great.

Next I traced the chevron patterns on to my paint chips and cut out the shapes. Be sure to do both angles!

Designing by Numbers next created a full page chevron pattern to have a template to glue the paint chip pieces to. My paint chip pieces were larger then Designing by Numbers so I made my own template. I printed out my template and glued my pieces. I used printer paper to print the template but you could also use cardstock.

Finally I framed my art!

I love how it turned out and it was really easy to make!
