Gold Painted Champagne Flutes

It seems I came back from my little blogging break a little too early. Sorry for being MIA lately, but with the holiday craziness and spending time with family I slacked on blogging. But I'm here now!

New Years Eve is tomorrow night! Are you excited! Today I have a super quick and easy tutorial just in time for partying on New Years Eve. Here is what I did:

What you need:
  • Champagne Flutes
  • Painters tape
  • Newspaper (or any scrap paper)
  • Gold spray paint

I've been wanting some champagne flutes for awhile now. On a trip to the dollar store I found these flutes but their stems were an awful green color. No biggie I thought, I'll paint them!

First I taped off the the bottom of the flute with the painters tape. Then I wrapped paper around the top part of the flute to protect it from the paint. Finally I spray painted the stem.

Done! Told you it was an easy one!

If you don't have any champagne flutes yet go get some cheap ones and fix them up!
